Sam
Managing Director
Sam is the Founder and Managing Director of Marlborough Building Services. Born and raised in Blenheim, Sam brings over 15 years of construction experience to the company. After a decade working on high-end commercial fit-outs and renovations for major companies in Australia, as well as managing mining camp refurbishments, Sam returned to Blenheim to establish Marlborough Building Services in 2021.
A Licensed Building Practitioner with a Diploma in Project Management, Sam is passionate about connecting with clients, designers, and skilled tradespeople to create dream spaces.
When he’s not on the job site, this proud family man enjoys spending time with his wife Petra and their two young daughters.

Josh
Lead Carpenter
Josh is a Qualified Lead Carpenter with over a decade of experience in large-scale commercial and architectural new builds. Originally from Auckland, Josh moved to Blenheim in 2008 and joined the Marlborough Building Services team in 2022. Known for his keen eye for detail, Josh ensures every project meets our high standards.
Outside of work, Josh is a dedicated father to his son Arlo. He enjoys taking Arlo to the parks, going camping, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Jason
Heavy Machinery Operator
With over 20 years in the construction industry, Jason is our go-to heavy machinery operator. As a licensed operator of trucks, diggers, and other essential equipment, Jason’s expertise is invaluable on our job sites.
When he’s not behind the wheel, Jason can often be found casting a fishing line, though he admits he doesn’t get out as much as he’d like. A proud grandfather, Jason loves visiting his grandchildren up in the Far North. He’s also a regular at Thursday night bowls, where he’s been playing with the same group of friends since primary school.
